Bubbles are always a hit with kids! Let's take the fun up a notch by making a homemade bubble pipe. It's quick, easy, and you probably already have everything you need at home. This craft can be completed in under five minutes and offers a delightful diversion.
Give your child the paper cup and let them go wild with decorations. Paint, glitter, stickers—anything goes to make their bubble pipe unique.
Once the decorations are dry, pierce the side of the cup with a pencil, about one inch from the bottom.
Stick the straw into the hole so that half of it is inside the cup and half sticks out. Seal the hole around the straw with masking tape to prevent leaks.
Pour dish soap into the cup until it covers the straw completely. Add 1–2 tablespoons of water to dilute it slightly.
Add a drop or two of food coloring to the bubble solution if you want colorful bubbles.
Show your child how to blow gently into the straw. Watch as a fountain of bubbles flows up and over the edge of the cup.
This fun and easy activity is perfect for a hot summer day or whenever your child needs a quick and exciting project.
